Rooftop solar and wind are driving change, while battery capacity under construction could soon meet 25% of peak demand. To replace coal’s 10+ GW and hit 70% renewables by 2030, Australia needs more wind power and stronger transmission infrastructure. The transition is underway, but the pace must quicken.
